Tasks
· Ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, from monitoring, analysis and prioritization to problem solving and documentation (3rd level support)
· Planning and implementation of proactive measures such as OS, software and patch deployments for our servers and clients based on our automated, centralized infrastructure, including the creation and maintenance of packages, highly automated in-place upgrades and checking compliance with our guidelines
· Creation of concepts for changes to our IT infrastructure, including taking responsibility for the implementation of such sub-projects, for example migrations, for the secure integration and connection of new SaaS applications or for other expansions of our application landscape
· Coordination, support and interface management between customers, other IT colleagues and cooperation with suppliers and service providers
Experience
· Completed IT training (HF, FH) with at least 4 years of professional experience in client and server engineering
· In-depth knowledge and many years of experience in the areas of operation and maintenance of Microsoft, Google and Citrix products, packaging, automated software distribution, patch management, authentication and authorization as well as scripting using Powershell
· Advantageous first points of contact for the integration of cloud providers, IaaS and SaaS solutions, for the operation and maintenance of Kubernetes
· Experience in the conception, planning and implementation of demanding infrastructure projects, including the optimization and automation of regular tasks
· Proactive working style and networked thinking combined with high team player qualities as well as the ability to act needs-oriented in favor of our customers
· Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and good knowledge of English
